Throat Singing
Throat singing techniques are inspired by the sounds of primal nature.
They echo the voices of animals, the murmur of water, the crackling of fire, and the wailing of the wind.
These techniques have their roots in the cultures of Tuva, Mongolia, Tibet, India, and Siberia, where they are used as tools for healing and achieving states of unity with nature, connecting with ancestors, and in shamanic practices, meditation, emotional cleansing, calming the mind, and enhancing concentration.
Practicing throat singing allows us to reconnect with our inner self, subconscious, body, breath, and root. It provides deep grounding, expands vocal abilities, and offers greater freedom and musical expression.
Whether you are just beginning your vocal journey or are an experienced musician—
During the workshop, we will explore and discover our voices through exercises that gently and safely activate the often-unused false vocal cords, ultimately leading to throat singing.
